Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 1, 2026. Effective: April 1, 2026.

Draftveil (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our AI content generation platform. By using Draftveil, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us and information generated through your use of Draftveil.

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address. We use magic link authentication and do not store passwords.

Training content: Posts and writing samples you upload to train your voice model. This content is used solely to personalize your AI model and is not shared with other users or used to train general models.

Usage data: Information about how you use Draftveil, including features accessed, content generated, and interactions with the application.

Communications: If you contact us, we retain those communications to help resolve your issue.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve Draftveil
  • Train and personalize your individual voice model
  • Send transactional emails (magic links, notifications)
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Monitor for abuse and enforce our Terms of Service
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your training content to improve our general AI models or share it with third parties for any purpose.

3. Data storage and security

Your data is stored using Supabase infrastructure hosted on AWS in the US-East region. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3)
  • Encryption at rest (AES-256)
  • Row-level security on all database tables
  • Access controls limiting which team members can access production data

Despite our efforts, no security system is impenetrable. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@draftveil.com.

4. Data sharing

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

Service providers: We use third-party vendors (Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic/OpenAI for AI inference) to operate Draftveil. These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.

Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Draftveil or others.

Business transfers: If Draftveil is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and associated data. Training content is deleted within 30 days of account deletion.

Export: You can export your generated content and training data at any time from your account settings.

Opt-out: You can opt out of non-transactional email communications at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@draftveil.com.

6. Cookies and tracking

Draftveil uses essential cookies required for authentication (session tokens) and application functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

We use privacy-respecting analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate usage patterns. This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify individual users.

7. Children's privacy

Draftveil is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@draftveil.com and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice in the application before the change takes effect. Your continued use of Draftveil after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
